The Kaiserreich Factbook is an apolitical, historical resource set up on the internet by myself, Gwynn Compton, with the help and support of a number of individuals who have both provided information, criticism, and inspiration for this project.
The aim of the Kaiserreich Factbook is to provide facts on various subjects in relation to Imperial Germany from 1871-1918, as well as the Central Powers in the Great War. While currently in its early stages, the Kaiserreich Factbook will be growing and collecting information over the next few months and years with the hope of becoming one of the most trusted and used sources for information on Imperial Germany and the Central Powers on the internet.
To navigate the site, please select from the menus on the left, and once into page on a country, you'll see a drop down box from which you can visit one of the sections on that country, Military, Political, Economic or Society. The "Various" category refers to articles written by myself and others that may relate to any aspect covered in the site.
Feel free to browse the site, explore the information contained herein, and even contribute to the growing archives of knowledge stored here.
Also please bear in mind that this site is continually under construction, and as of writing, the pages are very bare aside from two essays I wrote that are in the Various section of the factbook. As time goes by, and as my personal time allows, I will continue to add to this site.
This site is
completely apolitical, and refuses to be associated with any right wing
political movement.
